Anna Lapaeva - Mixed Media Artist
Anna works in mixed media. She puts her own experiences into her art, then she adds emotions and feelings, gold and silver leaf, paint, charcoal and poly and puts it all on wood. You can see Swarovski crystals shining here and there, and real rose petals, frozen in the coats of poly.
Anna creatively incorporates spirituality with just a hint of provocativeness. When you look at her art, you can feel her sadness, confusion and joy. Sometimes it looks like those women are flirting with you, and once in a while, it seems like they want to hide and not show their feelings.
